I would recommend messing with the freewheel stuff over a bucket or a clean surface at least. The pawl springs (the little R shaped wires) in those are about as thick as an eyelash. Dont know how messy your work bench is but if you take it apart they are easy to misplace. And definitely dont do...

I've really wanted to grab one of these since they first came out. I like the double down tubes and the LG fork. The colors keep getting uglier in my opinion though. Like they spent the least amount of time coming up with a scheme to slap these together.

Or if you were worried about the tire throwing puddles at you what about stretching some leather or canvas inside the rear rack ? I still dont know how this thing will turn out in the end but I think it would look cool on a rat rod maybe ??

They show it in the pic mounted on a mtb with oval tubing for a chainstay. Im wondering if it would slip on rounder stuff. I'm always skeptical of the descriptions of these 3rd party bulk selling sites though. The stand looks cool though :)
