I have never seen the original grips for these in one piece. My Dirt Star had a yellowed skinny white grip that was chipping into pieces, The outside was crispy and the inside had turned to paste... :confused: Every other example of these bikes with the same style grips appears to be in the same...

I've had the Felt version rides fine but theres a rivet holding the rails in place on the front thats pulled itself out of the plastic body. May not be an issue if the seat doesnt have springs though.

Same bike, he can ask whatever he wants, just keep watching to see if it sells at that price though. Here's one that sold ... a lot nicer paint to hit the $300 mark, plus it has a nice seat that's not faded out. I'm going to guess whoever got this bike might of had some buyers remorse still...

62 was the first year for typhoons, that frame style showed up in the middle of 61 though. Those guards weren't around in 52 and the badges were bigger in 52 as well. That's a 1962 bike
