Thanks, I would like to set it up as original, but this will have to do for now.

    Single Bar Worksman?

A good friend of mine scored big today: I have never seen one of these, all original except the seat and the missing chainguard decal. Does anyone know when Worksman did this? There are lighter duty rims, Carlisle city tires, and a different fork. Still has the sticker from the old local...

    The Green Machine, Worksman Find.

July 4th comes early: Tried to salvage a 32 y.o. Carlisle Whitewall front tire that sat flat outdoors for the last several years. The rear is still holding up well. Rode the bike about 10 feet and the tube exploded with epic report!: My only option now is a similar treaded Cheng Shin, that...

Thanks, we used to get round pegs back in the day, and could run them up parallel to the fork. With square ones they need to be vertically mounted. I started to clean up those forks and I realized that under the silver paint they were chrome. Razor blade & bronze wool to the rescue. Not...

Thanks, I haven't decided what to do with this one. I am building the other yellow one as an all original semi-beater to take my crabpot to & from the Chesapeake Bay beach.

    Frame Set and Cruiser Seat

Worksman at some point also straightened the down tube, it now really has only one bend and is almost straight: Here is a new (2009) frame (with 80's headbadge decal): Whereas older frames the downtube has more of an "S" shape (which I happen to like better): -Sorry, did not mean to make...

    Frame Set and Cruiser Seat

I have seen a lot of minor differences in Worksman's frames over the years. Here are 2 similar, but different older INBs: I have also seen seatpost clamps welded on, removable, and one piece with the top frame joint.

That is a Worksman, I believe. I have a Worksman frame just like it and I thought they had just put the rear dropouts on upside down. I estimate that mine is mid-70s to early 80s. I do need a set of forks like that if you are willing to part with them.

Some more Headbadge decals: From a late '90s bike I believe, also came in clear like one in post #181 above Current Headbadge is a metal curved decal.
