    SHOW US YOUR WORKSMAN BICYCLE

I always thought tandems were silly, but this thing is a lot of fun. Was riding w/ my 8 y.o. son last weekend through our neighborhood park / bike path. We passed a middle-school aged skate rat sitting on a bench and I heard him say to his girlfriend that the bike was "sick".

I have a similar frame, but an INB. It has a crude headbadge decal, similar to the nicer decal used starting in the early '80s. Note the "built-in" seat post clamp. I am guessing late '70s maybe. Some other differences:

Thanks. I will be looking to source a proper chain guard soon. Unfortunately the front tab for it is missing.

There were a ton of these sold in the '80s in Virginia Beach. The one we had to have for some reason was the straight bar frame. Maybe it separated us from the (even) more privileged kids with their high-end Lagunas (& without paper routes :)). I was pretty small and had my seat post all the...

    Early '80s Worksman Fixer

Future project. Might sandblast the forks to see how far rust has gotten. Rims are very straight & appear to clean up well:

Thanks Dave, The handlebars are solid alloy motorcycle bars from the early 80s. We used to get them at the local Honda cycle store back then. I picked these up NOS on eBay.

Getting close, just need to grease bottom bracket, add pedals and a chain, and the bike will finally hit the road!

    1982 Cycle Pro "Bonzai Pro"

I was helping a friend move in the early-mid '90s when he tossed his childhood BMX racing bike in the dumpster. I went and got it & later stuck it in my attic. "Found" it in my attic the other day & pulled it out. It is a Cycle Pro / Cyclepro "Bonzai Pro" from 1982 I believe. It has great...
