I got the last of the little parts clean and put the grips, seat, donor sissy bar, kickstand, and shifter on this morning. I need to think about the cable routing and put the chainguard on still but it's almost done. With the seat in the position it's in I'm touching the ground on my tip toes...

    Beer cans

That's very Cool! From the "good old days" no doubt. When my plant expanded, they tore down a wall and the inside was stuffed full of empty beer cans from those Days! Sadly, those days ended right before I started there. The story of my life!

The bendix red band is my favorite to rebuild. It's so simple but works so well! Also, I love that maguires wax. I put a couple three coats on my bike today too!

I think you're absolutely right Crash. I'm gonna have to live with them for the build off then maybe get them chromed. I've been watching the ebay and that spoke protector is pretty rare!

Ok. Here's a problem. This is as good as I can shine these up... That's with wire wheel, buffing wheel, wd40 and steel wool. Any ideas to get them better?

    (MBBO#05 class 1)"Tissue Damage" Sears Spyder-Finished!

I'm letting the paint on the frame "Sun cure". I don't know if that's really a thing but that's what I'm doing. I think tonight I'm going to run it down with polishing compound and a good wax... I worked on the apes and sissy bar. I'm gonna have to use my replacements... The bars looked...

    (MBBO#05 class 1)"Tissue Damage" Sears Spyder-Finished!

Here's the frame. I think it needs wetsanded and another cost but it's not bad. The only thing I'm not sure is, send off the old decal, paint and add new decal?
