Latest score from the local Waste Management Facility, she's a Haro,
all alloy frame with a disk brake rear wheel. Plans for her, alloy and
salt a hint to what's planned?!

Haro Railer SS, found a bit on her here, gee they were a bit pricy new!

They did a nice job on the welds back in the Haro factory.

Looks good!
Is that a bottle opener on the seat tube gusset?

Luke.

Yep a bottle opener and a rear wheel disk, couple of unusual things on her, she going to get a new look!

Used a wire wheel buff to get all the brown paint off, tricky getting
it out of those nice Haro factory welds let me tell you!

Being all alloy will finally have a bike that won't rust! Don't get me wrong
don't mind a bit of rust, being surrounded by ocean rust is my constant pal!

Have you thought about a tank plate? Looks like you already have plates you could sandwich there...

Luke.
Stole my thunder LTJ, working on just that today, more soon!

So got this little rocket ridable, found an old style saddle in the spares
stash, inverted the handle bar thingy, the tank is a bit of plywood with
some alloy sheet attached.

After wire buffing all the old paint off I used fine steel wool and polished
the whole frame, this took all the wire wheel marks off and evened up
the look of the metal. One of the biggest surprises about this bike is how
well she rides. I haven't yet serviced the rim bearings, have a feeling they
put the good gear on this bike she is so smooth, I guess it also helps that
she is all alloy and therefore not heavy!

Not finished her just yet, so more soon, for now just enjoying riding her.

So got this one done and dusted, wanted a salt flat come cafe racer look so less retro more modern, some droopy handle bars, new style seat the buffed the polished alloy frame came out nice. What’s with the sharks teeth, bit of a fan of those P40 Warbirds but also bit of a tribute to a film the recently released “Shallows” a lot of which was shot where I live. Anyone seen it about a big shark that goes a bit crazy on a hot girl, Blake Lively.

Just a spectacular day out in the Tasman Sea today so took her up to my
favourite spot for a few pic's.
