It is very nice for a 24" bike. C'mon let's step it up and save it from the part-out. Besides the fact that it already has some added parts. The handlebars are awesome!

Automatic trans fluid frees up chains great. This is the first I've cleaned with a wire wheel and it worked amazingly.

I washed the frame and waxed some of it. The areas with paint loss hold the wax residue and I'm not sure how I like it at the moment.

The rear wheel is looking great. I decided to unlace it to clean, then replaced some spokes with donors from a trashed triple-step I found in the basement. The front rim was a little wonky too, so I unlaced to clean and trued it up after. Only broke one spoke on the front trying to unlace, and...

Started on the wheel tonight. I had some same-length spokes on a postwar wheel. Same rust factor, but shorter nipples. Except for a slight hop, I have the wheel looking pretty good so far. A quick wipedown and it looks like the paint will be decent.

Since I'm going to tear down and reassemble, should I move this to the build thread?

The chain will be ok for sure. Clean it and oil it and it will be fine
