Looking for info on this bike, The World

I was told 1935 but would like more info. Maybe pics of a original bike restored would help. The serial is E4494 and it does not have another letter in front of the E. It is a friends bike he just got. Would like to know what is not original to the bike. Thinking the bars and front fender are not. Also missing the guard and maybe the tank.

Schwinn "The World". Those look like they could be Aerocycle (another Schwinn model from the 30s) fenders.

1933 was the first year for balloon tires in the US, with Schwinn leading the way. Original serial info prior to 1948 were lost in a fire. -Adam

No serial info available for these, as stated above. But if you are adventurous enough to attempt crank removal, the date should be stamped on it
