I really like the springer fork...You could just try to match the blue on the head tube and it would look great.

Looks great so far! :lol: I will follow this one as it went from fully built OG condition to bare frame and fork in my garage to someone else's hands to build back up.

I'm guessing it is a Murray by the chainring...I will just widen the forks if I need to. If I could get a 24x1.75 in cream for the front I would be stoked. I have searched and haven't come across anything yet.

I'm somewhat of a noob so bare with me please... I want to buy the 24x2.125 cream tires from Chimi for my RRBO8 bike but I am not 100% sure they will fit. The bike is a 60's 24" Hawthorne twin bar middle weight. I am pretty sure the tires will fit the rear but I am unsure on the front. Anyone...

I saw one of those tanks on a Ducati Monza 250 a while ago. They pop up on ebay from time to time. I believe they are referred to as a "Jello mold" tank.

I have been keeping my eye out for something similar for a speedway bike build. The frame geometry is similar to speedway motorcycles.

Ok, thanks! That is what I was thinking. I raced a 24" cruiser for years I just never measured the rim!!!

So I got the bikes this morning. The guy told me that the tan one was a 22". I figured that it was a 24" and the guy didn't know what he was talking about but there is no size on the tires. The rim measures about 21". Somebody help! I searched the web and couldn't find any info.

I got hooked with the Huffy Rail...Which we started working on again after a 2 month lull. I guess we wanted to wait until it was really cold to play in the garage. :)

Hawthornes...One is a 26", one I believe is a 22"? I take delivery of them tomorrow so I will know more then.

I have been after one for a 26" for a while. I will let you know if I track one down. I have one but at the moment it is for my son's Rail build. If that changes I will let you know as well.

Picked these up from CL...I did a quick fab job for them. I built an ice auger mount for an ATV. Cost me about $15 worth of material. What do you guys think?

It has been a little while since I posted on this build but I assure you we have been working on it. We got stiffed on the lot of bars from the fist page but I did track down another set of bars for it. I would post pictures but the camera won't stop fogging up! LOL! Damn Minnesota winter. :D...
