Here's a pic of a 1960 Tornado frame I had for a little while. Notice the double straight-bar and seat stays don't meet like the 61' and 62' frames.

Here's my double straight-bar 1962 Schwinn Typhoon. It's my version of a 24" bmx cruiser.

The fasback did come as a geared bike also so don't discredit the brakes being original.

Probably the highest valued GT right there. I've noticed those pro freestylers going for over a thousand bucks.

Those black Lester mags with the gumwall tires look sweeeet!

I bought this frame along with another frame which I was able to identify but this one seems more elusive, They are both 24" inchers, I think it's a Monark but I can be wrong, Any help is appreciated. Here she is on the right. Here's my second frame. 1960 Schwinn Tornado Double straight bar.

Thanks Rat Rod. It's actually missing a chrome cover on the chain guard but I think the sprochet stands out more without it...,and it's probably hard as heck to find the chrome cover too!=)

So I finally picked up my bikes from my buddy and was able to take a couple of snapshots of my Commuter II. I'm not sure If what exactly I am going to do with her, but for now I'll admire her lines and let my mind race.

By your pics I can't tell if your rear hub is equipped with a coaster break or not. It's most likely freewheel. The wheels look aftermarket and definitely not the stock wheels it came with. You can add some breaks if the frame and/or forks allow.
