    Assembly almost there, went with different seat I am a sucker for diamond pattern seats, banana seat strut made rear too busy looking for clean simple look. Still need to fab shiftier handle and some graphics Liquid sunshine today so no riding

    been working on other bikes made progress on paint. Found fork struts suggested by Missing Link, they look great, converted BB to euro. just a few details to workout and hope for decent weather to ride

    took a few days off Brass Knuckles worked on other bikes, mocked up seat and tried original fork, like factory fork over chopper style, looks cleaner fits frame. (last Pic)

    legs welded to lower tree, after seeing Missinglink's Rollfast going to try another fork, I want a rider I can enjoy, too many hills around here, the long forks on my Schwinn are a PITA

    Alternate seat mounting methods?

    I used liquid Drano on one frame let it sit for couple of weeks, it did loosen tried on another did not work. remove crank/BB plug any holes at seat post end fill seat tube let it sit as long as possible.

    Mocked up fork today now deciding 20" 27" or 26" front wheel, wife says 26 I like the 26 (one with tire mounted), rear wheel is 24

    But it could be considered a BMX cruiser due to components? I think a frame design would dictate the type of bike, I believe BMX cruiser must have vertical drop out that opens to the rear?

    Fairdale TAG 26 Builds?

    My next build after completing current project is a TAG26 Frame and Fork , all else will be mid school parts accumulated over the years, scored a nice 1983 wheel set off a MTB Suzue high flange hubs w/ Araya 7x rims. Anyone else put a Fairdale together?
