Yeah, I was wanting a third accent color and I thought those wheels were actually more of the gold anodized color which would have been a complimentary color, those which are left or right of the main color, I think my mind is kinda broken these days. Anyway the ad on eBay was bogus, those rims...

so I tapped on the frame with a rubber mallet and got all the crud out then I sprayed some PB blaster chain lube with Teflon all throughout the tubes and now I am using some goof off to get some of the tar off that’s in random spots all over the frame like this... We’re doing a Father’s Day...

Crud and rust on the inside of the bearings that’s coming out of the seat stays and head/bottom/seat tubes, not good! I’ve already sort of started to wipe off the BB but just remembered to take photos. Not stoked!

Looks like I need to blow the crud out of the tubes otherwise I can kiss the bearings goodbye, the BB was worse!

Went for one more ride with my son before I start my tear-down this evening. This is close to what I envisioned when I started but I’m gonna make a few changes probably! Cheers!
