Seat / Saddle Gallery - Post Pics Here

Here's my current favorite, mounted on Caridad. I had a neighborhood automotive upholsterer do the job for $5! I just gave him the design and picked some swatches and here it is :-)

Thanks, man! Yeah it was a good deal. I really had to snatch it up immediately before someone beats me to it. The bike/cruiser scene here is getting bigger every year, good for the community but bad for those looking for a good deal, haha!

Haha, if it's not one thing it's another, I also suspected the new coaster hub. I think I had about 3-4 rounds with this BB with loose bearings until I decided to use retainer bearings, there's still a click but you can hardly hear it now or sometime not at all. :-)

New bearings + old cups...yes, it could also be from the hub even if it's new. Thanks Barry!

Yup the treatment of the patina is finished. I scrubbed the whole frame with a wire brush to get as much rust, dirt and paint off...it left it a polished feel, then sprayed a couple of coats of clear matte and waxed and polished some more. Then next good deal I get on a vintage frame I'll...

Thanks, cman! I really don't know what type of fork it is called. It's just a generic fork used for our local pedicabs. The fork that I initially was going to use had a shorter steering tube and the others I had wouldn't accommodate the width of the tire. So I just ran to our neighborhood bike...
