    RAMCHARGERS Drag Bike

I think as far as theme bikes go you really pulled it off. The details such as the cable guides and extra tin for the graphics really, really work.

Thanks Luke. I could have shot the bottom one from the other side but the top one's composition, which I am starting to favor, worked better reversing the bikes perspective verses the building.

Can not believe I actually was able to finish on time. I un-decide on which photo I like. One has a nice quirkiness to it and the other a more graphic angle and a node to were I live. You guys can decide.

Had a chance for a quick ride in between rain showers today. No problem with the seat screws rubbing any were they should not. Slight sound in ther rear hub but since I rebuilt it thinking it just needs some time to distribute the grease well. At least that is what I am hoping. Next is the...

No chain guard yet. I have one sitting out but thinking I might go with out. A little tougher, rougher look with out it. But I really like that one. Going to look into it.

I hope to get a chain on it this weekend and give it a test spin. Some times it seems like some of the builds we do are like women's high heals. Look good but not always practicle.

The last part is done. Not sure if I am really happy with the seat but considering it was the first time I tried a recover job I guess it is okay. Because of the metal seat pan I was unable to use staples to help hold the material on so I put some leather straping along the edges. Helps give...

Starting on the seat. First time I have ever tried this so it is a bite of an experiment. Went into the How To section and found some info but only on using a plastic seat pan that one can staple into. Mine is metal so having to figure out how to make sure everything stays attached. Besides...

(BOTEN) "OUTLAW" ...Withdrawn from the build-off...

That thing is going to be a bear to turn. The front wheel will be flopping all over the place.

Thanks RM. The seat is the next step. Just on there to test the spacer I had to make since it is an older frame with a 5/8 solid seat post. I will try to dirty up the mounts. Good idea.

I got a little stuck on the electrical but thanks to doerman and Oddjob I figured it out,it is working enough for me and though not supper pretty it goes with the theme. Getting close to finished so here is a few photos were it stands at the moment. I tried wrapping the handlebars in some black...

Thanks guys. SD with the end of the competition fast approaching and my schedule the way it is I will probably go the the current bars but keep an eye out for others ones that might work better. All thought in all the time I have been a member here I have yet to see any one else do them but I...

It is amazing how a single word can set off ideas. Falstaff's use of leaking really helped me. Here it is as of now. Once it is on the bike might do a little more. Will see.

Although I am still working on it I decided to post an in progress shot of my battery holder. Feeling like I might want to add a little color to it. Something like the green verde that aged copper gets???? Any thoughts from out in the great cyber world?
