Ergonomics.....or Doesn't anyone know how that seat posts actually can be adjusted?? ??

I was told to place your heal on the pedal then adjust the seat so your leg is straight. When you pedal this gives you the right amount of bend in the leg. Never had any knee/back issues with my mt. Bike set up this way. I thought the road guys did this also.

Computer is back but still acting funny but will be using it anyway. Here is were I am at with the battery housing. Not sure if I am going to go a copper look or a galvanized paint scheme. I think I still might need a few more pieces. This is how it will connect to the bike: Here it is so far...

    Too much Rod

The part I like comes from the rodding tradition of mixing parts. Nothing like a good challenge trying to get thinks to work together.

    Eliminator-I found RamHorns

Not a serial number expert but I do remember trash picking one of those frames in the mide 70's. Never had the chance to do anything with it.

Have not been able to post anything since my computer is on the fritz. Hoping it is just the video card but it is in the shop now for repairs. Keeping up to date on the builds with my iPad. While putting parts together found my bearing cups were shot so had to order some generic ones from my...

    Secrets of the Masters

One recent discovery of mine-after I disassemble cranks from a bottom bracket, I stuff a champagne cork down the seat tube opening with a touch of epoxy, then chemweld a zerk fitting into the weld vent at the bottom of the bracket...after the cranks are reassembled, I never need to remove them...

    Low 'N Ratty

Need to paint black the little bite of chrome bracing that is in the mouth area. Leave the rest of it chrome were it touches the edge of the fender.

How do I remove these? Pedal rebuild.

Did not know they even made those anymore. Nicer look even.

    Fake-Rust Paint Job?

Nubby, What did you end up doing?

How do I remove these? Pedal rebuild.

I would just replace them with a bolt and acorn nut with a locking washer of some type.
