    Crank Removal HELLLPPP!!

If the bike is held in a repair stand the crank arms should be horizontal to the ground (I know that is redundant). The threaded section of the cotter on the top side. A long length of pipe is placed between the crank arm and the ground, the head off the cotter inside the pipe. Not only does...

    Good Quality front drum brake?

I have used multiple sets of the bolt on Schwinn Cantilever brakes. First they have at least three different fork clamp styles to match the shape of the fork blades. This must be matched correctly to your bike (and they were matched to Schwinn forks only. so good luck). The spring fork clamps...

Do you sharpen your drill bits?

I sharpen all of mine. I use the sanding disc on my right angle pneumatic die grinder.

    5/16" axle in a 3/8" dropout?

That is only .03125" per side of the axle. I would say that is well within the tolerances of most common bikes. No drama, no worries.

    Tool Usage

It would help to be specific. Many things are online already and there is no point in being redundant. Also images should be accompanied by a written tutorial.

    Bikes in Sweden

Cool stuff Svensk. Love the train bikes. The chain guards are to die for. You have to be able to get them in some old shop, buy everyone you can get. Some really nice chain rings as well. And more Svenska Flicka next time!

    High End Parts?

130mm - 135mm sound like MTB hubs or at least made for an MTB style frame. Same case my apply just in reverse depending on how the hubs are made. Just remove spacers as needed.

    Secure a "tank" into frame?

Use the pre-war hanging tank style. This is installed with straps that go over the tubes. This is much easier for a DIY project.

    High End Parts?

Soma; I am planning on a coaster hub. It will be a three piece shell similar to my others but with modern coaster internal parts but with custom external parts. The only problem is it will be REALLY EXPENSIVE!

    High End Parts?

    High End Parts?

What is high end to you? I made my own hubs with Shimano coaster insides and mounted them on HED carbon fiber mountain bike rims. That is well over $1k.

Someone is missing the point. This is Rat Rod Bikes, the whole idea is "Form before Function".

fattest tires possible on a Schwinn Middleweight with S-7 ?

A little research shows that someone is making such a tire: CST Cruiser 241 Tire (Cheng Shin). It is a 2 inch for the S-7 rim. Very odd for such an obsolete rim but lucky.

fattest tires possible on a Schwinn Middleweight with S-7 ?

Go back to CCR's post and pay attention. . The Schwinn S-7 rim/tire, 26 X 1 3/4 (571) as differentiated by the fractional notation is not the same size as any rim/tire notated with a decimal measurement. "26" inch tires (559) in sizes 1.75, 2.125, etc are not the same.
