A word of caution on overly drilled rims: I had one that stared to fail this weekend! The spoke tension is pulling the rim towards the center and there isn't enough meat to keep the aluminum from bending. This is on the triangle holes rim. The rims I have with the 1.5" holes are holding...

The Sun Crusher is a great bike. Definitely what I would buy if I was looking. You will probably like it better than your beast.

$159 isn't bad, but dolomites are $199 right now. Thats a lot more bike for an extra $40.

im not 100% sure the bottom brackets would swap between frames. I think the beast and Dolo have a wider shell. But maybe spacers could make it work.

I bet a solid rear axle and a 2mm spacer on the drive side would allow the chain to clear frame on the small cog. Putting the wheel in would be a little tricky, but not too bad.

Last time I was in walmart they had 2 beasts, a dolomite, a massif, and a bMax.

Plastidip works great on rubber. I had a buddy use it on some car tires to make them look like white walls. They looked really good, but the sun yellowed them really fast.

I'll be curious to see if those bronze bushings work. They may with a thread less stem...
