I think the reason that some LBS have problems selling the mag is because it's low on their list of things to push. Most bicycle mags at the shops are usually off to the side and regularly buried under other stuff. Also many shops aren't really into the types of bikes that Kickstand is centered...

I don't use and actual jig but I do clamp square tubing to several areas as I build. So i guess it's kind of a jig and I do weld on a steel door bolted to a futon frame. :lol:

Years back we used different types of handlebars for our cable machine when weight training. Also used different handlebars to angle our grips when doing pullups/chinups. But as the weight increased it became evident that something was gonna give! I wouldn't advise doing it for most any weight...
