    Quick Question concerning Cycle Trucks

I believe most are 26"back and 20" front. If you're building one from scratch, what difference does it make?

    Help Quick-Cat Problems-What To Do?

Dingo, check with some of the vets in your area, alot of times they have a payment plan for emergency situations. You can also check with Adopt a pet or something similar. They usually have vets that participate in low cost/no cost visits if you can get a referral. I would say get the cat to a...

Deus Bike Build Off Competition (lots of pics)

Too bad the pics are gone. I saw them before their demise though and I was really impressed with the dirt oriented bikes. There's nothing cooler that a big bore twin with trench digging knobs stuffed into the frame. Plenty of other cool bikes also, Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what...

    sickest chopper i've ever seen

Definitely alot of manhours in the bike! The paint job took a lot of thought and the guy pulled it off very well. Great showbike but I'd be a little hardpressed to throw a leg over it and ride off into the sunset.

    mini hi wheel

Hey Dash, The bike looks great! Just something to keep in check .... Watch the seat post for fatigue cracks, after you put some miles on it. When you pedal your putting back pressure on the tube and it could crack and dump you on your head. Also watch the tube to the bottom bracket. A brace on...

It's all good Larz. I sometimes come across as an A-hole to people but I only post when something or someone catches my eye. I'm always interested in knowing what other people's perceptions are on a subject and I sometimes use my posts as a cattle prod to get things moving. All of us...

    Suhr Bicycles

I'm not knocking the bike as far as it's looks. In fact I like it. I also appreciate all the time and work spent in creating the bike. Is this your bike or a friend of yours? You started the thread like it was someone elses, but you seemed to have taken some offense to my reply. If I offended...

    Anyone else seen these tires?

I would say the tires are one offs. The bike you posted as well as some of the others look to me to be some type of designer bikes probably for a high end design or art show. Maybe even some type of show for future prototypes. I could be wrong though. I'm basing my opinion on the fact that their...

    mini hi wheel

I got to agree with Larz, I think you should at least using a 12 1/2" wheel. I'd probably go 16". One of the guys that I ride with tried an eight inch wheel and didn't like it. He tried a regular 12 1/2" wheel and found it much better. We gave him one of those 12 1/2"scooter wheels, the kind...

    The History of BMX

Something alot of you guys may not know is that the European motorcycle clubs started as racing clubs unlike many of the U.S. motocycle clubs. Motocross, enduros, speedway, scrambles and trials were all normal for many of the kids back in the day. It could be compared to how the American kids...

    1970s Bicycling Children's Book

Good Post! I like how they point out the dangers of some of the bikes and activities. Real cool way to give kids some great ideas! I found a similar book to this at our library. I'll have to look for it the next time I go. Thanks!

    Suhr Bicycles

He claims it's rideable and his video shows him riding it, but he's doing very little pedaling. Most of his riding is coasting. I'd love to see this bike on a five mile ride that isn't all downhill. I think his face would look like this .... Take his measurments of the bike, the fact...

    Who here is over 50?

50 until January. I've crammed a lot of cool stuff in my life so far and don't plan on slacking up anytime soon. Had a couple of setbacks healthwise in the last couple of years, but I'm still here! Got some big plans for 2011!
