    Help: Trike kit axle disassembly.

It looks like a spring roll pin in the hole. If it is, you need to drive it out with a hammer and punch.

    Elgin front fender questions.

If it was meant to be on top, there will be a hole for a screw at about the 11 o'clock and 2 o'clock positions on the fender. There will be corresponding holes in the shoulder of the fork. Also the hole in the fender will be large enough for the steering tube to pass through it.

    FED UP with this bike!

The correct cables come with the end crimped/soldered? on. Do you just need the inner cable or the outside sheath as well? What length? I can probably help you out and save your sanity.

    Silver king the saga continues.....

I have a 24 inch set of double drops for sale that I believe would be correct for a Silver King.

    Howdy from the Prairie

Welcome Oly. I spent almost my entire life in western ND (Williston) and recently escaped the oilboom madness and moved to MN. I think there are some members in MT that may be able to help you find a bike for your boss, or just keep hitting the yard sales, flea markets, etc. They are out there...

    Front Axles

Possibly. I think the problem will be the size of the bearing cones from the smaller axle. Probably easier to just grind flat spots on opposite sides of the 3/8 axle until it will fit the fork.

I'll tell you my guess, you help me fill in the gaps?

Definitely Elgin, I had one like it a few years ago.

    1959 Hawthorne Flo-Cycle

Pick asked about the springer on mine, it is very similar to the Monark single spring ones. Not sure why the site won't let me upload a photo today. http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l583/crassly/bike1_zps27f17209.jpg

    1959 Hawthorne Flo-Cycle

Nice bike. I have an all original Hawthorne that I believe is a 1957 that is very similar (same tank design and same carrier) but mine has a springer fork.

Expanding my Park tool collection. It finally came in.

I also have a PCS-9 and I really like it. Only complaint I have is that I tried to tighten the clamp too much and it snapped. Fortunately a quick call to Park Tools had a replacement on the way the next day.

    need info: 48 Indian

I'm not going to be a lot of help on this one, but I know a little bit. They are from the UK. The girls model was the Indian Princess. Not sure who made them, but I believe like all British bikes, parts are interchangeable with Raleigh. Some will tell you they are valuable and others will argue...

Bendix automatic part ID and where to buy?

Here is the one I have. It is chewed up a little just above where the bearing retain sits, but it shouldn't affect the way it works I don't think. You can pm me for price and details if you are interested.
