Dude...you need to go look at yourself in the mirror then give yourself a good slap...you passed up what appears to me to be a 24" CWC built Goodyear cruiser...WITH IT"S TANKS!!!...shame on you for judging on size :oops: :shock: :lol: No really...not easy to find...would look good next to...

Fender is Pope-Westfield...the springer legs appear to be Schwinn(?)...handlebars would be Wald...hope this is helpful...Pappy 8)

While your FRAME may be badged as a Firestone it is actually a Monark DeLuxe frame. Monark built bikes for Firestone back in the day so when Pops went to buy tires for the old Edsel,Junior could beg for a cool new bike.Great starting point for you though...tanks were made for this bike &...

Re: Got a handful of bikes yes...I'll concur with Rockit!. As most already know,both Spaceliner & Flightliner were built by Murray for Sears under the JC Higgins banner at pretty much the same time frame...Pappy 8)

Thanx Leobeerguy & Jpromo...the numbers on the bottom bracket are: 5671 R then underneath that is I (capital i) then a 7. Does that help to decipher exactly what make & year it is? Thanx in advance for any help...Pappy 8)

Had a GREAT weekend after experiencing a "dry spell" of sorts. Found this mostly complete 1937 HP Harris built Zep. Someone had put a mid-weight front wheel and tire on it at some point in time but the weird thing is that there are no holes for a headbadge :shock: ...what gives? Had to make a 3...

I've got a '69 10-speed Spyder in the process of restoration right now...mine's the Murray built cantilever frame though as opposed to the Murray Spaceliner style... It's called an "overload(?)" tube if I'm not mistaken,longboy...both ends of the shifter cable are connected to a spring inside...
