    Seat paint?

I'm building an old kids bike for my 6 year old. The seat (Troxel) that came with it is made out what looks like a plyable rubber with an S on it. It's two toned, but I would like to paint it, is this even possible? I would change the seat but this bike has a wonkie skinny ... seat post, I mean...

1918 Cycling Article - The "Moto-Bike" Why a Ridiculous American Machine is Marketed

To each their own. I only have two bikes, a felt and a Ruff and I bet some dispise these bikes and would not ride them. I have heard a few people walk by my bike and say it's rediculous. I too look at some bikes built on this site and think the same. Same goes with cars, etc.. If it floats your...

Best classic bikes for taller riders (6'3")

I have a ruff porucho with a layed back seat post, I'm 6-3 an with the that post I barely reach the 5.5 inch cranks. I run a tripple tree with lay down bars so I'm laying over the bike, plenty of room, but I'm not riding that beast more than 10 miles, that is for sure. Never set it up for swept...

Ruff Cycles Tango S build.. my first "from scratch" build!

I'm 6-3, run a triple tree fork with semi down bars that lay pretty flat. I also have a swept back seat post that increases the length about 3 inches, so I'm pretty much stretched out over the top of the bike in a semi laying down position. The problem with his setup and this frame is that one...

Ruff Cycles Tango S build.. my first "from scratch" build!

I really like this frame, but I like it more with out the plate. I have a porucho now and my gal rides my custom felt, but I was thinking of getting this frame and building one for her. Keep us all updated with pics and such.

    100mm framesets

I have a ruff with 24x4 inch wide rims and 4.25 inch tires and they fit. But I had widen the rear just a tad which was easy using a 2x4.

    Ruff bike parts?

If you go on their site they have a page that shows who sells their bike parts. There is one in NY and one in California with the one in Ca ( the crusier shop) having the most parts from what I can tell.

    Which Brooks saddle?

Find a nice used one on CL, one that is 5 or more years old. The leather will be must softer and it will look better.

RUFF CYCLES NEW "LUCKY" CRUISER FRAME

I have Ruff Porucho and the reason I bought it was because it reminded me of a low rider/stretched out worksman frame/board tracker with serious attitude. This bike is just too main stream (no attitude like their other frames) looking for me and maybe they are trying to break into that market...

Bates style headlight mounting for Electra TT

Since its a bottom mount light and your triple tree does not have enough room, don't really think you can. You need to find a side mount light. http://www.mopeddivision.com/headlight/

    Rude or Just Stupid?

Sorry, but I don't see the issue, but I'm up at that time anyways. He was probably hoping to get voicemail or something, or he really wants the bike. And the last thing I would do is not sell him the bike because of it. There are way to many bikes on CL, and the fact he wanted yours, well maybe...
