The crank, grips and pedals on my 20 were all from an exercise bike. All have since been replaced.

Ok, once upon a time. I had a few old exercise bikes laying around for parts, but most of them disappeared when I moved back into an apartment. Lets see what you have! I know I had a few handlebars around, some HUGE seats, and even bigger front sprockets VP

Exercize bikes. Always have the most obscure handlebars. More often than not, ones from the 60's or 70's will work on a bike

I might have to see if we can get a van dessel in....

Tin foil. bunch it up around your spoke nipples. A lot easier than taping them off or taking them out. It will come off super easy when you're done :D

Not actually a taillight, But I did make it sort of. I found this in an abandonned building. looked like an old motorcycle turn signal or tail light. Had no lens and the wiring was shot. I went to my local Dollorama and bought one of those reflectors for the end of your driveway and holesawed...

Very Nice. Mine was a mostly stock 1989 200A Turbo 2.2 5spd, True Quattro. Man do I wish I hadn't sold that thing.... Oh well another German will grace my garage. I know this for sure :lol:

Go to your local Napa and buy a spray on stripper called El Dorado. Works pretty good. Works even better if you wrap it in plastic. But like mentioned above, some factory paintjobs stay on better. On those ones, its best to break out the brush on stuff :wink: VP

A customer brought this in today. They want it resto'ed. Looking for a little info. Year/model? I brushed off a little gunk and paint to get a serial # not sure if its correct but here's what I think I've got c621 3285107 also. I think it may have been repaired near the BB at some point...

Daaaaaaang. For half the cost of my mountain bike I could have bought all those and had them shipped.....
