Show off your Chrome frame bike!

Not a cruiser, but there is chrome under that flaking candy red paint. Abandoned at my work, I replaced the pedals with flats, the pizza cutter tires with the fattest I could fit ( a whole 28mm!), and the drop bars with city bars. I love converting racing bikes to city bikes, real hot rods of...

The uGlY fIxIe thread is back!

I don't think it's ugly, but some people might. Fixed gear Raleigh twenty non folder.

    One of two

I love the Raleigh 20, I have a couple, a non folding fixed gear and a folding single speed. I would upgrade the wheels and brakes, and strip off everything that isn't a bad ..., sporty bike.

    Colson Loop Tail Flat Tracker?

I have those tires on wide 24 inch rims and they look meh:(. Yours look awesome! What size are those rims and where, where, where did you get those wheels:rockout:?!

Lets See Those 26" BMX Styled Cruiser Builds

I built these as Klunkers, but it looks like they would be at home here to. Heavy like tanks, but they plow through most anything once they are up to speed.

FEELER - NEW Webco 3-Bar Chromoly 26" BMX Cruiser Frames Group Buy

Count me interested! I have been wanting a 3 bar frame with modern materials and modern sizing in components. $300 is on the high side of my budget, I would be willing to sacrifice the integrated headset if that helped. I would build it up with current Mtn bike components, so I would be happy...

    Tires

The trikes in this build-off have got me to thinking, what if you put drift trike wheels on the back? Some fancy gearing would be needed to get the wheel speed up, but that might be worth it to do burn outs and doughnuts! :rockout::rockout::rockout:

    Malefic entry

Interesting! Maybe you could include some details from the 1937 Glide-A-Cycle, make it a little more steam locomotive. http://www.oldspokeshome.com/glide-cycle-1937

    (ORBO) Green Lantern finished

Thank you! Good eye on the frame ID, I had no idea. I generally am not a fan either, but the price was right . I like how long and low the bike looks, I hope to take it on a downhill path to see how it handles.

    (ORBO) Green Lantern finished

Thanks! The bars are XLT(?), I hate to say that I don't remember where I got them, but I really like flat sweep back bars.

    (ORBO) The Sportsman finished

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: Very nice! Is that frame larger/taller than a standard cruiser frame?

    (ORBO) HD Klunker finished

My favorite HD klunk yet! I wonder how hard it would be to make a frame like that to fit 29'er wheels and brakes......

    (ORBO) Klunkerbolt finished

    Nicely done sir!

    (ORBO) MasterSports/CyclePro revamp finished!

And across the line! Looks good! I am curious as to how much heat that sink dissipates, I wonder how hard it would be to do a test?

    (ORBO) Green Lantern finished

Thank you :) The name came from my friend who gave me the frame, he called it Green Lantern Green and the name stuck.:D
