Steam electric hybrid. Suicide reostat controlled dc motor driven flywheel to the siderail on the back wheels. I am not a fan of sitting on a boiler. Small steam engine generator to charge the batteries.

The leaf spring fork on the lower left and the fork on the lower right both look good.

Seems ambitious at this point but seeing lots of cool interesting stuff here already (fork ad is amazing).

Interesting! Maybe you could include some details from the 1937 Glide-A-Cycle, make it a little more steam locomotive.
