I had to remove another cassette the other day and 3/4 was to small it took a 13/16 lug nut and it was a little loose so on to of the flats of the nut I took a small finishing nail and taped it between the nut and splines in two places and it worked good I know all this sounds like I am a hammer...

This bike has the small double tubes like a flight liner or space liner did Ross make a bike like that only real difference I can see in the frame is the rear drop outs are not pointed at the rear?

Finally got brave enough to try the double wheel it went pretty well just clamped and welded the two wheels then laced and trued now it makes the 24. -2.125 look pretty good but hoping I can find something wider and slicker if the dollars come not being able to get the Jerald and just getting...

Thanks for replying yeah I'm going to weld them and it's going to be regular metal rims was it any harder to true than any other rim I guess that all depends on if you get it to hot and warp them I will have to be careful. Will a 2.125 tire fit?

On freewheels and clusters I hav used the Lucas oil stabilizers on the little paws that makes the clicking noise it works good but I couldn't say what long term results would be but it brings the noise down dramaticall it may work on the three speeds to as long as you can get it where it needs...
