I think your friend wants an early bike. Harley bicycles were around in the (don't quote me) 1920's or 1930's, or possibly earlier. Very rare.

Nice bikes! Murray made those style frames for a lot of different dept. and auto parts stores, such as Sears, Otasco, and Western Auto. JC Higgins was sold at Sears, and I recall someone here (Dodgdart?) found one badged as a BF Goodrich.

Re: 1980 S&S BMX Cruiser That was intentional. :D Let's just say I paid less than anything new at Walmart. The down tube is totally rotted through. It is fixable, I'm just not sure if the cost of repair and refinishing (replacing the entire downtube and new chrome or powdercoat) is worth it.
