Found it, Junk Build

Just install a new 29er rear wheel. If you can do it, swap hubs with your old rim and go. That's if you can rebuild the wheel with different length spokes. I didn't do a 29er but I converted a huffy cranbrook to a single speed freewheel. Just swapped rear wheels and added hand brakes.

Id say, Glue and press fit and hope for the best. The Raleigh Technium is that way.

24 inch tires Right? Its so easy. I have done a few for kids that can not get the gear changing down. Take off rear gears, add BMX Freewheel. And up front, The smallest chain ring is what I use. It lines up with the new BMX cog and it gets you close to the right gearing. Try to get close...

^^^^^^^ That's sweet. I'm going for the suspension bike on either cut down skis or kids skis. The bike I was going to give to the X G/F will be my ski bike. Some day after I get the other 58 projects out of the way.
