Ulu, this brings back bad memories of changing the carrier bearing on a 63 Impala two piece drive shaft. You had to get it all lined up just right to get the holes on the pillow block housing to line up in the enclosed drive shaft tunnel. It could be a battle. Good thing the iconic VWs didn't...
