Bicycles have been on the back burner for about a week and a half. My neighbor threw out this 12' Coleman Crawdad.

You can see the rotted floor I removed here. The seats and transom board were just as bad.

I replaced all the wood and hardware. Fasted down the ends of the black molding and installed a drain plug fitting in the transom. Someone cut a drain hole in it and never finished that.

In the canal behind my house you're only allowed to paddle or use an electric motor.

Going to be glad to get back to bikes.

One other thing, I wiped it down with Jay Leno automotive plastic restorer. Amazing stuff.

Is the Crawdad made from the "kevlar" material Coleman was making canoes from back in the late 80s and early 90s? That shined up really nicely, I could use that on my green canoe...

Update: it IS the same stuff! Now I need some of that automotive plastic restorer, and a Crawdad. Dang it that's cool
