On this one Id say "rare" means there is not to many of them out there (probably because I've scrapped many of these bikes myself) and not so much worth more. I also agree the frame looks a bit bent at the head tube. It'll definitely make an amazing rat rod build and will look great when done...

Great job!! I can't wait to see it done. In 96 I purchased a NOS moosegoose from my Mongoose rep. I sold it a few years later and I kick myself everyday for it!!

Thank you for this review! With parts upgrades it would make an awesome neighborhood cruiser! I’d grab one but I’m waiting for a certain BMX company to unveil their new Classic cruisers (I’ve got friends in high places).
