1982 Mongoose

My parents bought me this bike in 1987-89ish at a garage sale. It was in mint original condition and it was my first non-department store bike (besides antique bikes). I rode the sh*% out of it and eventually changed the grips, seat, tires, and lost the front brake. I just unboxed it and starded the clean up process. Just polished the frame and about to start the parts. I’ll post my progress. This is a Wire wheel model wth the black “Gold Stem”. I guess not to many of this model out there!

Haven’t had time to clean up the parts yet, but I did receive this tire from a cabe member. I’m so excited to get this bike to how I originally got it!

Still working on it. I found a pic of me with it in the early 90’s after I changed some parts.
