    I said in the original post its a boys bike and it DOES have clad wheels. The frame is the size of a 24 but the wheels are 26.

    Picked up a 24 inch boys hawthorne snow flake shaped skip tooth drive scout long spring saddle ball end coke bottle grips and steel clad wood wheels the serial number is on the bb in two lines rear facing drop outs with adjusting screws pics posted tomorrow until then any guesses on age?

    thanks i still have to take finished pictures of the striping and post them so stay tuned. you could always try some pinstriping yourself, there are plenty of resources out on the interweb and i believe there are a few members on this site that could give you some pointers too.

    I say leave them chrome. That way you don't have too many colors or finish types going here. If you do decide to paint them red be sure to scuff them really well and then prime with self etching primer, then follow with primer and top coat.
