    24" Tires

Greetings All! I need a little bit of help here, could someone point me in the right direction please... as I am still kinda new to the hobby. I've got a couple of 24" boys bikes that I'm getting ready to "restore" for the kids use. Could you all rattle off different tire manufacturers...

I've got (2) two Murray Mercury bicycles... unfortunately [for me] neither look like that... LOL. Just neat that there are still a few treasures yet to be discovered out there. Nice score. Clark

    first friday pub/art crawl

Heh heh heh... what a great time we had! I think we we're all having so much fun that nobody else took any pictures...? Getting a "daddy pop" for ¢.50 out of the soda machine was a hoot at the first galley! So much to see, so much art, so much music... Couldn't take it all in that night...

    1917/1922 Harley Davidson

"No matter what -- I'm extremely happy with what I've got here. It has beautiful lines and is elegant in its simplicity. As a motorcycle enthusiast, and a bicycle rider/enthusiast, this is a cross-over score for me. When I eventually restore its period components and cosmetic beauty, I'll place...

    1941 Colson

... don't be ashamed to sell it to me, I can live with the mundane red paint with no stripes. That chrome thing is over rated anyway. Heh heh heh... Nice bike! Clark

    Bike rentals

To all... If you're near the Kansas City area, I would encourage you to stop by Jon's [and Marty's] shop if for nothing else just to talk bicycles. I on the other hand, took the whole family (immediate family and my siblings and their families) for a Saturday morning outing on a couple weeks...

Old bike with late model parts...

Hey all, I'm still new to the hobby in regards to bike building but, have plenty of hands on fabrication when it comes to motorcycles and cars... I've got a question [or two]. I've been researching/reading best I can and still fuzzy about interchangeability of bicycle parts... I want to take...

    Murray Mercury 2x

Skip, hello... Can you say "pub crawl"? That's where I'll ride them. Probably not a Napa wine tour though. (inside joke) Prolly won't "work" on them so much, just ride "as is", have a little fun. I'm starting to gain steam on my other Murray build so these will remain back burner...

    Murray Mercury 2x

Okay folks... Here's my good fortune from last weekends adventures, (2) two Murray Mercury bicycles. Saturday I picked up my Ebay purchase. I'm certain I drove to far and certain I paid toooo much... but, what the heck. Saturday's purchase was a complete bike, with the owner picking it up in...

    Interchangeability

Thanks for the link MagicRat. It looks as though the frames are very similar between you and me but they are different... that's not to say interchangeability is different though. Like Markm mentioned, it's a Murray frame - I'm 99% sure of that... Keep the thoughts and insights coming guys...

    Interchangeability

Okay, here go... I would like to get back into a bike build and this is, well, going to be such a noob question [or inquiry] I almost hesitate to ask... I'm going to ask only to try to eliminate some frustration that comes along with errant (incorrect) purchases due to my lack of experience in...

    The Larryville Shuffle (working title)

Although I haven't attended many of the swaps lately, the ones from the past have been a bit, well, lacking. Life here at home has been a bit hectic and I don't see that slowing down in the immediate future... but I would make time to attend a swap with an alternate location - Columbia would...
