That is beautiful, I have an early sixties frame just like that but black, just did a really cool classic style build with it. I love that chrome, if for some reason you ever want to part with that frame set, keep me in mind.:thumbsup:

Dang, that thing is effin sick!! I just did a similar build but with an old murray built diamond frame, I put new 26" wheels with white 26x1.5 tires on it. That frameset is awesome.

That things rad, awesome job, i'm really surprised no one has duplicated this bike in 26", that would be killer.

Wow Gray, that thing came out sweet! Has a certain 30's flair about it, kinda reminds me of something on the railways, very cool and original. 8)

I actually just figured it out of my own curiosity, I forgot about an old Murray I had in the back that took that size wheel, a 1.75 actually fits with about 5mm clearance on each side of the tire between the seat stays with a full size 1.75 coaster rim.

Looking to pick up an old Schwinn Colligate frame that originally took a 26 x 1-3/8 tire, do any of you guys know if a 1.5 tire will fit in the frame wells? I am wanting to run a regular cruiser sized coaster wheel with a 1.5 tire on it, i'm 99% sure it will fit, thanks in advance.
