Class 1 Ross Apollo DeLorean Style

Wow. That last quarter flew by! I didn't get around to adding the B2TF embellishments I would have liked to but still happy with the end result. Simple, clean, and stylish! IMG_0788 by B Shazbut, on Flickr

I'm pretty jealous of your handlebars. Just realized they resemble a DMC with its doors up.

    (MMBO 2015 Class 1) Delorean DMC-12

Moving slow on this project as I am pretty busy with work and other fun life stuff. I do have this preview update though! Obviously a DeLorean bike would have three speeds... past, present, future!

(MBBO#04 Class 1) Fritz Fifty Krate Done Right, update 10 finished

Looks great! I always heard water-slide decals don't stick to powder coat. Doesn't seem to be an issue on this bike.

Thanks folks! Wasn't going for a bttf theme specifically but was thinking of throwing in a small homage. Saw that paperweight. It might have to go on the back of the sissybar or somethin!

    (MMBO 2015 Class 1) Delorean DMC-12

Finally got around to picking up the powder coated frame today and started reassembling. Also thru on a decal I made. Getting pumped! Got some old school bmx wheel covers I am going to paint a metallic finish and then decal to imitate the delorean wheels.

NERRB Summer of 2015 Events Thread!

If you guys are in the city I recommend heading over the Charles River to Cambridge and Somerville. A lot of new and old spots around there. Also there is a good clustering of bars and restaurants around Central Sq, Inman Sq, Union Sq, Harvard Sq, Sq Sq, Sq Sq Sq,...... I may be a bit biased as...

    (MMBO 2015 Class 1) Delorean DMC-12

Yeah I was thinking something like that. I also make signs for a living so I was going to do custom Delorean decals for the extra authentisity. Thinking of maybe painting the sissybar and rear fender black to match the rear grill on the DMC-12. I'm no metalworker so it will have to be cleaver...

    (MMBO 2015 Class 1) Delorean DMC-12

Been collecting Ross Apollo parts since the beginning of the summer. Just stripped the frame and was originally planning on doing a complete resto back to it's original color (brownish-copper). After seeing all the great ideas here I got the bug to do something more custom. Personally I think...

Customized and partially restored wedge bike

Thanks Luke! My buddies, JT & Tom over at my local bike shop http://somervelo.com/ put 'em together for me in exchange for some storefront window graphics (I make and install signs/decals/etc). Tom specifically built the back wheel and did the spoke twists if you look up close. There is just a...

ID this 1960s Ross Bike please

Here's the 76 Ross 3 speed frame I found. Serial number starts 1276 (Dec 1976) and it does have the matching chain guard not pictured in the photo. It's got maroon spray over the original dark brown/coppertone paint. I am going to strip it and try to repaint it the orignal color as accurate as...

Customized and partially restored wedge bike

This is my rider right now. Don't know anything about the manufacturer other than they were in Brooklyn and judging from the head badge they were called spiral. I have removed all of the rust except for some oxidation stains here and there and some small chrome loss of the handlebars. I have...

^^^ Ah-ha! I was wondering why the 1976 ross apollo 3-speed I am working on is stamped "chain bicycle company" right next to the serial number. Thx!!!!
