1962 Schwinn Typhoon 20" Pig Bike

Found the red lever hoods in merry old England. I have a friend there mailing them to me because he can get them here for about half the postage eBay wanted which was more than the cost of the little rubber guys themselves. To boot I am also getting a black indicator protector for about $4 US no...

    26" coaster brake wheel set

Hey man sorry it took a bit to get back. I got the ACS hublnlaced yesterday and can send a couple more photos later today if you need them. I haven't planned to build any 26ers for a while, right now I have a Pig Bike, an Apple Krate and a 1966 Fastback to finish. Maybe could do something with...

    Duck Norris!

If the edges are tapered some anyway why not use your original plate as a shim inside the other side of the frame and let them protrude the small amount on other side. Then you can appreciate them while you ride.

    26" coaster brake wheel set

Man, do i feel like an idiot! I dug out the rims this morning to get photos and felt something was off. So I checked the wheels out with a balloon tire. They are S-7 Schwinn rims with a mid 1960s Bendix non red band hub. I may have another set at my storage and I will go in to look either today...

    26" coaster brake wheel set

I just realized you are the same guy looking for the ACS hub. I did get photos of it because it was with my project bike for the Build Off. I am taking the hub off and replacing it with a 36 hole Sturmey Archer front drum brake hub to build a 20" lightweight drum brake wheel. Do you only need a...

    26" coaster brake wheel set

Hey man, I didnt forget you. I am trying to finish assembling a Toro Z Master 52" mower before the grass gets too tall to find it. Then we got hit with hail and 60 mph winds for an hour or so. I will get them in the morning man and take photos and weigh them. I think they are older rims...

Rat Rod Bikes Build Off #17: Let's Go!!

I wish I couldve done a YouTube Video of these kids that were jumping a pretty good sized ramp with the tandem now own. That was probably 2008, and I only had a dumbphone then. Probably the 2nd or 3rd attempt the old Huffy drop center wheels went pear shaped and they pushed it home. I tracked...

    A new buildoff thread?

I used to run one at a print shop that had a ball for steering. Man that was fun in an open area! This was set to be a rear steer 3 wheeler. I do not have enough spare parts to build another engine so it would have to be Pedal or maybe electric. I suppose a 4 stroke Horizontal isn't out of the...

Rat Rod Bikes Build Off #17: Let's Go!!

I have a vintage Marx Shooting Gallery with an electric machine gun built into it. Probably still works with batteries replaced. I saw a Marx Machine gun like we played Army with as kids. Some Libweenie Karen saw the photo on a forum and started screaming like Luke Crywalker about how dangerous...

Rat Rod Bikes Build Off #17: Let's Go!!

Hey, I am new to this. Is this like the one that just finished as far as builds. For instance I have been collecting parts for a musclebike custom. I was saving it for Winter MBBO Musclebike class but the parts are almost all here and I am a little impatient sometimes. If it would be better off...

36H ACS rear hub NOS or minty

If you did and I missed it I apologize. It is a polished style, and yes it is 36 hole. I may have a front one as well but you didn't say whether you needed one. Rob

Rat Rod Bikes Build Off #17: Let's Go!!

I built one from a Schwinn Twinn and a Schwinn 3 wheeler rear unit years back with my brother. Black and lots of chrome pieces. Just a tip man. You will need more than stock bicycle chain. We broke the first one in about 10 feet. I cut one from garage door opener chain and that is all I use...

    A new buildoff thread?

I have owned and operated 4 forklifts at my metal processing facility. The concept of a rear steer motorcycle is scary. That is what makes life worth dying for.

Musicians, Some you know some you don't. Some you didnt even know were.

Moving here from a thread about rules since I was bending one by posting a Roy Clark video. Roy broke a few rules.I will repost that here as well but I want to start with a video from some well known musicians and one I never heard play before. Honestly, this is not my usual music but you...
