    7/8" Laidback Seatpost?

Oh yeah, Mr Tick. I think he had a guarantee it wouldn't bend, and his signature nickles welded on the ends, neat stuff.

    Saddle suggestion?

Brooks B67 and B72 as mentioned above, or Brooks B33 if you want more cushion and a front spring.

    Wheelman

Mustache bars would get a sweet look, but you would probably hit your knees. Mabe a extra long stem and the flat (no drop) mustache bars. Heck it's cool just like it is. You got the only one on the bolck I'm sure. I'd like to see a kid ride it, wouldn't be fast but I bet it's a kick to ride, and...

Now there is something a little different. I like it.

    7/8" Laidback Seatpost?

The old Schwinn cruisers used a 13/16" seatpost. 7/8" will not work in them.

    7/8" Laidback Seatpost?

Another one. Genuine Bicycle Products has a 7/8" 6061 solid aluminum lay back, I have one and they are okay. I do like slowriderz better, more lay back and I like the angle of the lay back, they are solid steel round bar, heavy and heavy duty, I have two of those. You get them when you can...

    Suicide Shift

Although it's not recommended bicycle guru Sheldon Brown used a friction down tube shifter on a internally geared 3 speed hub for years with no problems. I saw a twist shifter rubber grip removed and a seat post clamp on it. The clamp had a piece of all thread screwed into it, then a tube, then...

    PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION

Mark 57 WA retired. I always tinkered and changed things my bike as a kid, had a small vintage bike collection at one time. I like mechanical and old stuff, my mountain bike was fine 25 years ago (SM800 Cannondale still have it), but I wanted something more up right style. I didn't really see...

    Tap Talk

I just never had anyone I know recommend it, usually if it is good you'll hear something.

    Tap Talk

    Thanks, that's what I thought.

    Tap Talk

I keep getting that annoying Tap Talk advertisement banner. The X to close it out is tiny. I was wondering how many of you use tap talk and what the advantage would be if any.

    Help needed with Tank I.D.

I have a continuous double straight bar if you need some measurements or pics for help. I'm thinking if it won't fit a twin bar, it probably won't fit the continuous twin bar either. Heck, it would be nice if it only fit a continuous double straight bar because that was a one year only frame and...

    Rat Rod Qualified?

Heck, put a knuckle buster suicide knob on It! No, put 2 knobs on it, nobody has gone full double suicide knobs before. Yes, you heard it here first. Oh yeah, the chain question? Once you've gone double knuckle buster suicide knob no one notice chain or no chain. Double knob, heck yeah.
