Price can range widely on year, amount of original parts, and overall condition... as you know. Without seeing it I'd say $100. If it's all original and in good condition, $200 may be a fair price as well. Just hard to really say without knowing more. Good luck! Serial number will allow us to...

Thanks! It has a Firestone headbadge, but I was unsure if that had been original to the bike. As mentioned, the bike may have been pieced together over the years.

The serial number is stamped "12970" and right below it has "FCW" stamped in the frame. Some insight is it may be a Huffman from the 40's, but I'm not certain. Just trying to pinpoint maker, model, and possible year. Thanks all for your help!

You can ocassionally find that bike for sale on eBay. Usually from people who won them or liquor stores selling offf their promo inventory to make way for new stuff. I'm no expert, but I think you can get those for $400-$600 if you look over the next few months.

I don't know much about those... But hard to go wrong at that price if it has an official slick tire and everything else is original. Maybe he/she will take $50!!! Good luck

I came across this Schwinn today and had to get it... I'm sucker for anything with a tank, plus it looked extremely clean :thumbsup: Anyway, I think it is a 1959 Schwinn Hornet, noted by the serial # H916355. The bike appears to be pretty original, but I'm certainly not an expert when it comes...
