i stripped all the old paint with aircraft stripper, then primed it with rust-oleum ultra cover, after that i wet sanded with 600 grit paper, then used rust-oleum gloss enamel to paint with and it left cracks in the bends of the forks.

so i've tried rustoleum and got bad results then i tried krylon and and the results werent much better. so what kind of spray paint do you guys use? it seems like i run into problems every time i use a gloss spray paint.

exploited and the casualties is the most played on my ipod.

so i got all the paint stripped off and primed, now ready for paint.

so i've had this 71 schwinn pixie for years and since i have no other projects going i figured i'd go ahead and start this build.

mongoose had 2 bigger bikes back then, the kos and the 2 6, each one had bmx style dropouts. im with ratrod on this one, you got an old road bike.

the one the right is to conceal and the one on the left is for when i wanna get messy.

so after sanding down my 71 pixie, i found 6 numbers stamped into the seatpost tube. what are these for a serial #?
