I like Ichi. I've found several things for my old Schwinns there, and at reasonable prices. He is tolerant of my requests, and it is a fun place to wander through. :)

Where it looks like white, it is the decal discolored. Anyone seen a Huffy Five Xpress, and are they worth running? I have a 10 year old (short) grandson, and this is an alternative to a mountain bike for him to ride with us. I figure it will be more acceptable than the Fair Lady to him. :D

Picked up a nice tall 72 Varsity today. Put the wheels back on, aired the tires, compared the derailure to my Twinn's so I'd get it right (Have I mentioned I never had a 5 or 10 speed as a kid?), and took it for a ride. I think I'll like this bike, as long as my legs don't get shorter. :D...

My landlord's grandson called to me as I returned from a ride this morning, said he had a bike I might want. Went out back and this was laying in the grass- All there, including the light set. Aired the tires, and rode it down the street. Needs a couple of chains cut off, but in very good...

It is trying to make it to my house...thus the double trip to Des Moines... :D

Well, since all that was gone when I got it years ago, I suppose making it as rideable as it was when I bought it is not a bad idea. :D

So, worth hanging onto? Been schlepping it around for years, anyway...

This was a bike I bought used at least 20 years ago. I rode it some with my kids, then forgot about it, other than moving it when I moved. So, I'd like to know- what the heck is it? Worth re-doing, or good to part out? It was blue, but seems to have chrome underneath.

Found this on local craigslist last night, and beat the crowd there today. Very dusty, and drywall texture overspray. This is after a five minute cleanup. :D Rides and shifts well, 27 inch tires seem to hold air, dates to April '82. Paid $20.

Pixie, kind of a starter bike. Different years had solid or pnuematic tires. I have a red one.

My '96 Sebring convertible. Although, I just got a reciever hitch on my '04, and am buying a hitch rack, so I can use either, and take a grandkid's bike along. The rack pictured wouldn't clear the spoiler on my '04.

And when it says hit it like you mean it- do so. :) Just took the cotters off my Western Flyer.

PM sent. Talked to the wife, I will have to buy the Easy-Off, as she informs me that we don't have it with our gas stove. Gloves will probably also be in order, since her hands are a bit smaller than mine. Did order a new brake cable.
