Old BMX

This was a bike I bought used at least 20 years ago. I rode it some with my kids, then forgot about it, other than moving it when I moved. So, I'd like to know- what the heck is it? Worth re-doing, or good to part out? It was blue, but seems to have chrome underneath.

One bit of info: The chainring is a Murray chainring.

if you google "murray bmx bike", you will see your bike.. early 1980s goodness.

Looks like a team murray bike, the seat looks like an early uni racing seat too

So, worth hanging onto? Been schlepping it around for years, anyway...

since all the accessories are gone (chainguard, pads, etc), restoring it would not be cost effective, IMHO.

Well, since all that was gone when I got it years ago, I suppose making it as rideable as it was when I bought it is not a bad idea.
