todays up-date.April 30th,Did more body work and made the cowl.Also ordered some parts-tires and derailer&chain to get it moving.Needs more work in adjusting things to fit better--like the steering collum might get shortened.

Todays up-date--built and added the steering column

Installed the tierods today--no photo update-lots to do this weekend so progress is slow.

Very slow progress today took half a day to find just the nuts for the rod ends--the hardwear store had the ends--no problem---but didn't have the nuts.another local hardwear had the nuts for the right side only--the left rod end is left threaded.So a trip to san antonio and found the last 4...

You might go with a modified fork to move the front wheel out a bit.A non springer "plate" fork would move the wheel out--longer fork legs would also.

You may still qualify for TRADITIONAL if your not welding your frame---hand bending--as in putting your foot on it and spreeding the rear for wide tires is allowed.

You might have to go with a 3 speed bottom bracket. or 2 speed BB and 2 speed hub
