    1950 CCM Ballooner

Rob and I got our '50 CCM ballooners out for a cruise today. It was awesome to get two of them together. They ride like tanks and super quiet too!

    1940's? Sunshine

They were built with a lot of parts from Schwinn, more the Shelby line, so you are good to go for parts. I might have a decent sprocket laying around for one of those.

Western Flyer for me [Mo' pics!]

Judging by the curve of the down tube and the attachment point for the chain guard, it's is either a '47 or '48. This is my '46, which now has a 3-gill tank on it too! I might have a rack for yours that would be close to original. I will check the parts stash today.

    NOS Grip-O-Lite coke bottle grips.

The yellow barrels are the same rubber as any other grip, the white ends are rubber too. I need something to put these on. :D

    Before & After Pics

Pretty much scrap in most eyes. It provided an opportunity to build a bike for my then girlfriend, now fiance as a Christmas present. She is in love with it and it now is getting skirt guards and a Shimano 3-speed.

    NOS Grip-O-Lite coke bottle grips.

Rob has a pair for himself as well, we were both pondering them over some fine 12 year Glen Rothes and just ended up pondering more.

    NOS Grip-O-Lite coke bottle grips.

Went for a visit to HotRodRob's today for some scotch on a cold winter's day and came home with these NOS Grip-O-Lite coke bottle grips. I have never seen these before. The box glue smells pretty darn old to say the least. They do light up with 2 AAs but need to be grounded by the handlebars...

Still like to know what this is!

'51 with some cobbled together stuff. These bikes are awesome and have tons of potential. Ya need to get a Shockmaster fork on that bad boy. Here's my '51 Hawthorne, same CWC built bike.

    1936/37 CWC Super Kool

Awesome score. I am not too sure if that bike came with a tank, it looks likes it might need one of those rare 4-gill ones. Get some 000 fine steel wool, some Permatex rust dissolving gel and rub in light circles, that paint will come back pretty nice, not perfect, but nice. Use some Meguiars...

    Mystery Springer

Thanks, that was what my gut was telling me when I looked at the front plate on it but I just wasn't sure. Seems to be well built and the spring isn't sprung!

    Mystery Springer

I am helping a friend gather parts for a Colorflow restoration and he brought me this springer that came on his. Being mainly a CWC guy I am stumped. He swapped it out for a beehive I had for sale. He thought is was a Schwinn, but I know it is not. I know it is not some chickity china thing as...

    '41 Roadmaster

I got this frame, fork and fenders from a '41 Roadmaster from Road Master. Took a while to get the parts together for this one. Scored a Nexus 4-speed wheel set off HotRodRob and mated them to some cream Fat Franks. I had the old front load Delta fender light in my parts stash and the patina...

    NICE! A little jealous . . .

    Pawn Shop Hawthorne

I have a '48 with the same fork. The truss rods mount onto the front of the dropouts plate while the axle and springer part attach in a groove in the back of the dropouts plate where they can have lots of up and down fun. I have yet to bottom mine out. I know it took two of us to get the front...
