    Caution, Bike seller fell...bumped head

In California? Yeah, right! I'm sure that he meant $700. A few months ago, I paid $100 for the same bike, but with the "step-through" frame. Even came with the original seat and extra rims.

Anyone care to help with a domestic disagreement?

Why don't you build yourself a removable bike stand for the back of the pick up bed. You can use PVC pipe. There's an article about it in the "How To" section. The bikes will then neatly stack inside the bed. As for you coolers and such, I'd get a hitch from a pick-n-pull yard and buy a...

    "Tired" of payin' for tires....

That's why I buy up as many tires I can whenever I see a cheap price. Just earlier this week I bought four sets of balloon size whitewalls, a pair of greenwalls and one redwall for $12 each. I bought out all of the whitewalls the LBS had left.

First stretch build (out of the box)

We should, but finding the time is hard. I recently moved and still unpacking and getting my garage in order before my 37 Chrysler Airflow is back from being fixed. Then I'll be riding in the Airflow. I haven't ridden a bike in at least two months now.

First stretch build (out of the box)

He had to pull his shtuff together to graduate. He pulled up each grade by at least one letter for each one of his classes. I showed him a picture of the bike and that's when he got the fire in his butt to get cracking on his make-up school work.

First stretch build (out of the box)

Three of us (myself, my father-in-law and my brother-in-law) chipped in to buy my wife's nephew a stretch cruiser bike for his graduation (8th grade). He has always wanted one ever since I got into this old bike hobby. He's my main cruising partner. So, I found this bike from a vendor on CL...

    Few days worth of finds

First, got this ladies Schwinn Breeze from my boss for FREE. I believe that it was his ex-wife's bike and has been sitting outside for sometime. He also has a 60s Schwinn tandem hanging in his garage, but he won't let me have it, yet. I'm not a big fan of these style bikes, so...

    I've been very busy.....

We don't get this kind of stuff anywhere in California for that matter. California has been dried up and whatever is left commands a high dollar.

Barely fit in the back of my truck. (Crank Pulled)

Re: Barely fit in the back of my truck. (serial # update) Yup, that's what my wife said when I brought home a tandem. We have yet to ride it together. I've ridden it by myself a few times and only one time with her nephew. The kid weighs slightly over 200 lbs. Man-o-man was that a wild and...

    .......KRIPTANITE CHOPCYCLE........

My jaw hit the table when I saw your bike. It's amazing!!! Is that an "adult beverage" container recepticle underneath the seat?

    Packard Girls Bike

Rusty?? You want to see rusty?? This is what my wife rides. She doesn't really like the bikes too rusty. You have a nice looking bike. Very nice patina. I may have a vintage rear rack that might work on your bike and also a child seat similar to the one on the above pictured bike (seat...

    Interesting sales transaction!

I don't know, man... I don't think that I would have sold a bike to someone knowing that it'll just sit in the yard to rust. That bike is not in that bad of a shape. It's like selling an old all original car to someone that's going to hot-rod it or worse turn it into a lowrider. But, to each...

    Can anyone help me?

Greyhound??? Go to shipgreyhound.com and you can get an estimated price as long as you have the weight and dimensions. Most Greyhound locations even sell bike boxes. The local stations here sells them for $10.

    $10k schwinn..........

Both are good to look at and admire, but I could never ride either one of those around. I'd be too afraid to get them knicked up or stolen. I don't have a museum, yet, so what would be the point in having one...??? I guess I'm talking this way because I don't have the money to buy one, or...

You want how much for that bike?

Is this bike really worth the price??? http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/1226914936.html Looks like there's a new Gold Rush in California or this guy is smoking some of that "medicinal" stuff.

Want to buy a stretch cruiser for my wife's nephew. It's his 8th grade graduation gift. he's always wanted one. however, with money being tight, we can't afford to get an expensive stretch. So, while surfing on the net and CL, I came across this company...
