Gravity racer - Calling all daredevils!

ya got bigger brass than i, ya couldnt pay me enough to ride a flipped frame again, i raced on one in a world cup event and it scared the bageezus outta me! springer forks are taller so they increase rake, a flipped frame increases rake, flipped brackets increase racke, but .. the best set up...

what kind of springer fork? i would definately suggest flipping the frame back to right back up, when ya lip the frame you increase the racke, which is good if your drag racing and only going straight, but terrible in turns as you have found. a rigid bmx fork would be great, some guys say...

Gravity racer - Calling all daredevils!

can i make a suggestion about wobbles? usually on g-bikes wobbles are not from speed. if you're going under 40mph then i would definatel suggest that it's not a speed wobble issue. get rid of the bmx fork and install a road fork w/ a negative angle and at least 3 inches of reach. set up your...

Gravity racer - Calling all daredevils!

im sad to report that there aren't any organizations in north america that are currently including gravity bike classes. there werent enough bikes showing up to races. the bikes are awesome but they are a wicked pain to transport. 20" (bmx size) are good wheels to use, they're fast and...

a moped (maybe) for my younger son

crank arms are about 6", i'll probably keep the chainring and put shorter cranks on it, that'll leave more room for the motor. the more i look at it's profile the more im leaning toward cutting the seat tube flush with the top tube and mounting the seat on the rear seat stays fast eddie

    a completed rescue

i rescued this bike from a garage. it was a trail bike with some different part on it that ya see here. i flipped the stem, added monkey bars/rack/air pump. i rebuilt absolutely everything on this bike. i replaced the thumb turn index shifter with a grip/twist shift for the rear. i...
