You can find great deals on Electras on Craigslist. I bought an $800 aluminum-framed 3-speed chopper (Ghostrider) for $200 and a $600 aluminum-framed Hawaii 3-speed for $150. Once, I even bought a steel-framed Hawaii 3-speed for $40!

I want to sell a Bendix single-speed hub from a Columbia RX-5 that is in great shape with excellent chrome and no chipping along with all 36 spokes needed to mount it to a rim. The spokes are in perfect condition. What do you think would be a good price for the combo?

Just an FYI that you won't need a laid-back seatpost if you buy an Electra made after 2006. These cruisers have patented technology that stretches out the frame while also lowering the center of gravity.

Sometimes you can find 20" Electra girls cruises on craigslist for a decent price (less than $70). Even a Huffy would be much better!
