    Let's see your 4x4 trucks

Here's my 2007 Silverado Z71 4x4 Got the ugly towing mirrors on in this pic. I should have took a pic last weekend when I went and played in the mud.

    Any GM techs on here?

After some research I decided to take my truck in to get a diagnosis. Ended up being a bad cam position sensor. They also found torn CV boots and a leaking oil pan. Can't say either was or wasn't. I never saw a drop of oil of hear any noise from CVs but oh well. I would have done all the work...

39 YR OLDS & BMX BIKES

Great story. I've done similar on my mountain bike... but I was intentionally trying to wheelie. The cruiser is a better bet for guys our age (39 too). I still want to get another bmx but I'll probably go with a 24". Although my sister said she is going to give me back the 83-84 Mini Ripper...

What to do with a tweener?

No I really only had one inquiry, but it really wasn't for sale. The guy was searching for a Stealth and found this thread on Google. I've still got my fingers crossed that the delivery goes well and I don't get a bunch of angry emails about something or another. I packed the heck out of it...

Oxalic Acid for cleaning off rust

Just as a rule of thumb, add acid to water, not water to acid. Some acids react with water and dropping some water in it will have some bad consequences. Results look good though. :)

What to do with a tweener?

Resurrecting this from the dead to say good bye to the old girl. It is in the capable hands of the USPS on it's way to Czech Republic to a new owner who seems to really appreciate the bike and brand. I'll probably kick myself for selling it someday... oh well.

    Shipping to Europe?

Thanks. I was hoping it would go good, it has been a long time in the making. This should make room for another project.

    Shipping to Europe?

Well I'm getting ready to ship a bike over to Czech Republic and got to the customs pages. It says to list all contents of package, the bike is disassembled, do you think I have to list every part or is "disassembled bicycle" going to fly. How far into the package are they going to dig or will...

    Any GM techs on here?

Hey I'm looking to see if anyone here is a tech or mechanic. I had the CE light come on in my truck and stopped at the Zone to read it. Turns it is P0011 Intake camshaft position system performance bank 1. I am looking for the intake camshaft position sensor. Found a sensor on the front of the...

    Something amiss in this one

I really have no interest in this bike. There is another one that, if I had any time, I would try to get. I knew something was wrong with the add, oh well.

    Something amiss in this one

I'm not a Schwinn expert by any means but something looks off about this bike. Looks like a newer bike with some older parts thrown on. The geometry and seat stays seem off for an older bike, maybe I'm just seeing things. I don"t know. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/bik/2259386343.html

Unbalanced Terminology - The "Spoke Nipple" Caution

One of the things I find amusing is the terminology found on forums. I belong to RV.net and a lot of threads on there talk about cleaning the black tank which isn't anything but then people can freely say they have a poo dam and it's common. On a fishing forum there was an article about...

    The $50 Nirve build.

Well the garage is being taken over by all kinds of c### for my wife's garage sale. So work has came to a standstill until that gets cleared out. I have spent some time disassembling the Stealth and getting it ready for sale. If I get that done it should open up some room in the bugdet for any...

Anyone else ever seen Kenda Flame white walls? pics added!

Diggin' the radio flyer. I built one for my son but added pneumatic tires, lifted it and added some "rock rails". I've got another one that I want to build as a lowrider with suspension.

Tumbles you've taken on a bicycle?

Never been busted up too bad but my two most memorable are once as a kid I was racing by buddy across the parking lot, him on his PK Ripper and me on my Mini Ripper. He cuts me off and I was end over end a number of times. There was plenty of roadrash on that one. Another time, in the early 90's...

    Bicycle Helmets

I've always been partial to the Kaiser helmets, more for comedic value than anything else though.

    The $50 Nirve build.

Thanks. It's coming along slowly at the moment. I volunteer to help organize a woodturning symposium and it's this weekend so I've been a little wrapped up in that lately. After the weekend it's back to bike building though, and that pesky job I have to keep.
