    Another "Roth" Build!

Too cool, Mr. Nickel...Roth is one of my fabrication heroes, up there with Indian Larry, my Grandpap, and a dude named Melvin. The venerable Dr. Tankenstein addressed this before, but I dig Roth's trikes big time, would be cool for a pedal version with a Roth influence...maybe there are and I...

Wire baskets.. can they be truly masculine?

As long as you deploy the proper "ensemble" whilst pedaling, you're rockn' and rollin', bub!

Wire baskets.. can they be truly masculine?

I like baskets...when camping, I haul firewood from all over. Meeba, your battle cruiser and trailer combo rocks! SR, first time I've seen your chain gripped bars...awesome.

    Really Old Tricycle Please Help?

Don't know, but all you need is a blaster and a space helmet and you're ready to patrol the universe...that thing definitly pegs the "kool-a-moondo" meter...

How did you come up with your AVATAR ? And Screen Name ?

My 'ol man always called me a Goober, when I was being one...I do the same to my boys as well. Big "Andy Griffith Show" fan too. They don't make TV shows like that anymore....too bad. Oh, and Merrick is my Grandad's name...coolest guy in my world.

    Skip-tooth tricycle

As near as I can tell from today's research it's a mid 40's model....that's also using the guys age who sold it to me as a factor (it was his as a kid). I saw that one on CL...$300 bucks (+ $200 for shipping) with new pneumatic wheels on it! The gene pool is at low tide again...

    Skip-tooth tricycle

The paint looks to be original...there some rust going on, just surface stuff. I'm wanting to keep the solid tires but thinking about fabbing a jig to "lathe" a more uniform profile on them. The girly is too small to be paint pickin'...probably want to keep it neutral for handing down to future...

    Skip-tooth tricycle

Got it!!....I've already cut the solid tires off of it...those things are heavy! I think I'm going to saw-zall the down tube and stretch it, then put ape hangers....pffft...grrrk....ok, I can't type with with a straight face anymore, and I'm pretty sure the lynch mob is forming...I was just...

    Skip-tooth tricycle

Found this little gem while X-mas tree chopping yesterday. A Colson skiptooth trike...pretty cool. Solid rubber tires...all there except the seat had a vinyl cover on it, so I don't know what's under that. Anybody seen one before? Had a $40 dollar tag on it...pretty much being sold to park in in...

    WHAT A BUNCH OF WINERS

Re: WHAT A BUNCH OF WINGERS Yeo...I gotta agree. I've been on a lot of VW, motorcycle and even fabrication sites that that are quite antagonistic. Some people are pretty "tough" when their keyboard is doing all the talking. This is a great site.

    Here goes nothin'...the "Ham Slammich"".

W.E.Coyote always had the cash for rocket launchers and anvils...why didn't he just buy an Acme sandwich!

    Who here is over 50?

51 in December...my brain still thinks it's in its 20's, but my back proves it wrong quite often.

    Spoke/Hub question...

Probably a dumb question, but I've never dealt with wheels too much...I want to switch to a coaster brake on a 26", 36 spoke wheel...I have one from a 20", 36 spoke wheel. What else do I need to consider...thanks. Roy
