    UK Rat rod bikes??

I would keep the step-thru frame. It's an awesome bike, no need to mess with such a nice patina.

    Low voltage horn?

Cool. Will probably go with one of them then. Using a project box right now to make a control panel for all of my bike's electronics. Decided on a 3V system and I'm going to have a main switch that turns the system on, a horn button, a status LED showing the system has power and an audio input...

    Low voltage horn?

nvm, just found them on ebay by searching for "bicycle tank horn", the cheapest ones are $18 though, ouch. I need a 3V horn closer to the $5 range.

Merlot: A custom Schwinn Meridian trike

Started working on the electronics control box for the bike. Now if I could just find a horn that operated on really low voltage (3v-6v).

    Low voltage horn?

Okay guys, for my custom Schwinn Meridian trike I'm piecing together and electrical system. Honestly I'd like to go with a simple 3V system since most of it (which consists of LED lights) will run straight off of that without having to use resistors or diodes to bring the power down. On top of...

    post trike pictures

thinking about putting mine back on to mount brake/turn lights into the reflector housing (mine has reflectors on the fenders) but not sure if I want to deal with them again, lol.

aren't the fenders a PITA? I ended up removing mine because they were constantly needing to be adjusted.

Merlot: A custom Schwinn Meridian trike

Okay guys, it's been like a year but I've got some updates. The box and grips have long since been stained red oak and I'm about to do a few other things: - Electrical system, 6V. Will power turn signals, brake lights, horn & head lamp. Will try to hide most of it and do it as plain looking as...

I want to see what you've done to your trike. Mine currently has a wine crate as a rear basket but I'm looking for ideas.

Merlot: A custom Schwinn Meridian trike

Some of you may have seen in some of my previous posts that I was going to build a sidecar for one of my bikes but then decided instead to just get a trike. Well, first time I took it out the freewheel stripped the threads on the hub, called up Schwinn (Pacific Cycles) and they immediately...

    Where to get "fat" wheels?

With my new trike I'm thinking about putting some wider wheels and tires on the back, should look really good. I have no idea where you guys find them though? The very few places I've found them it's just the outer rim, not a whole wheel. I've never assembled a wheel before and would rather just...

    New bike, some ideas.

Seeing that truck really make me want to replace the black center caps with some chrome ones (if I can find any).

    New bike, some ideas.

First day with new bike. Took about 2 hours or so to put together. I didn't find the rear fenders very hard to get right but the front was pissing me off so I just left it off. Took it out for a cruise and when I tried to go up a small hill the freewheel stripped the threads on the hub assembly...
